Jack Bauer

24 was good as always.Apparently Audrey still has feelings for Jack so does the other chick which should complicate matters nicely.This president of this season sucks! he seems to not know what to do half the time and is easily duped by his subordinates.I like how serious and straight forward the secret service are, no joking around.The first lady managed to escape being dragged to some psych ward.Its nice to see how much respect David Palmer still generates even while deceased as evidenced by the two secret service men who agreed to help Jack bring Cummings to his knees literally!.Those knuckleheads who stole the nerve gas are not too dim moving the canisters from their original place and now threatening to unleash hell in the U.S.Best show on network tv, it may not have the ratings of C.S.I but I will take 24 over it anytime all day forever!! ok that's enough rambling, cya all tomorrow........

Grey's Anatomy, Wicker Park

Only thing worth watching was Grey's Anatomy which was good as per usual.Sandro Oh won the SAG award so her mantle is getting crowded.Its all good as this only gets more viewers to watch.Dr. Burke standing up for his chick was a nice touch even though it turned out poorly and Christina had to eat crow.Dr.Shepard is sure enjoying life, what with the hot wife and hot intern what could be better than having two chicks after your heart, good stuff there.Izzy had a kid who knew? O'malley sticking up for the nurses was interesting to say the least then at the end when Izzy and Meridith entered his bed with him in the middle with his psp it was funny especially when he asked them if they wanted sex hehe.If you are not watching this show you are missing out big time.

I watched this movie Wicker Park and have to say it was well made and well done.I at first thought the chick would flip out and kill everyone but after watching it I asked myself the things love makes people do is amazing from deception to murder among many other things.I have never experienced that kind of love where everything else ceases to exist although in this girls case she had some issues but overall the movie was good and I was thoroughly entertained.All you guys out there rent this movie and watch it with your girlfriends or wives you will enjoy.Well that's all for now time to get ready for Jack Bauer who won a SAG yesterday much deserved, Jack much deserved.

AI, Lost, Invasion,The O.C

AI was interesting as usual but the best part was when Simon just bounced.Paula and her cohort were needling him all day until he reached the boiling point, threw his pen on the table called his driver and limod his way out that was too funny.Although he did look like he woke up one the wrong side of the bed as he was in a testy mood.

Lost was awesome as usual, Charlie thinking he is going nuts and getting rolled by locke was interesting.Ecko baptizing the baby and her mum was a nice touch.Lost is one of the few cerebral shows on tv today and its nice to see.

I hope people are sticking around to watch Invasion.This show has been really good all season and was good this week with Tom getting shot and also we got to see what was in that locked closet.Looking forward to future episodes.

The O.C was interesting, that sis of Marissa is quite the troublemaker although she is much needed as the show was going downhill fast.Seth refusing to do the interview for Brown and smoking pot instead was interesting.I wonder what his problem is? does he not want to leave The O.C or what? in other news Marissa is a beautiful girl indeed I can see how she is a model or was one.

I watched Wedding Crashers the other day and I was laughing like an imbecile.What a funny movie, Vince Vaughn is a star in the making and should be asking for $20mill a movie soon depending on how this movie he did with current squeeze Aniston does his future looks bright.Will ferrel was hilarious in this movie too.Some people are just born to be funny.

I also watched 40 yr old virgin.Another very funny and surprisingly long comedy most comedies don't pass 90mins but this one deserved every min.Steve Carrel definitely deserved the globe he won as I have never watched The Office but if he is half as good as he was in this movie then it was much deserved.After getting six pack abs from all the laughing I watched Evelyn which is based on a true story of a man trying to get his kids back from an orphanage.The story was good, predictable but still good.That's all folks cya on Monday have a nice weekend.

American Idol, Boston Legal

American Idol was too funny yesterday.It's amazing how bad people sound when they have no idea how much they suck opening their mouths.Simon turned 50 but he doesn't look even 40 must be taking care of himself quite well.I see now why the judges have bodyguards coz some of those contestants are borderline nuts you never know if they might snap after Simon tells them to never ever sing again.That pickler chick is going far, she has looks, talent and sob story = america's next sweetheart.As I was watching Idol yesterday I asked myself how lucky these judges must be I mean just telling people how much talent they have or how much they suck = millions of dollars a season, gotta love it.
I am looking forward to more shenanigans today.

Boston Legal was also fun, Betty White sticking up stores was too funny,then Denny's future wife is proving to be a tough customer after turning down $500k to go away hehe if anyone gave me $500k to go away I would vanish instantly ha.Julie Bowen is quite hot, I have followed her all the way from ED which was a nice show actually.Speaking of ED I watched Love Monkey and it looks like a fun show however its getting raped weekly by AI so it either needs to move to a new night or it will face the axe soon.

I have a favourite song at the moment called everything burns, I stumbled onto it after watching F4 its sung by Ben Moody featuring the lovely Anastacia(sp).The postal service in the LA area is having issues and mail is taking longer than expected to arrive which is getting annoying but what can you do? hopefully it picks up soon anyway that's all for today have a good one.

24 was as predicted veeeeeeery good.Audrey seeing Jack after she thought he was dead was good stuff apparently she may still want him so with all the stuff Jack has on his plate he may have 2 babes after him hehe who would not like to be Jack Bauer? The president's wife has gone awol and his chief of staff is about to be busted though how to do that will be quite a task to accomplish.This president seems to have a lot on his plate and doesn't seem to know what to do half the time unlike David Palmer.That knucklehead Chloe banged apparently was being lied to and almost had Jack killed.

In other news West Wing is going to end its run in May.It was quite a show, a regular critic fav and a billion emmys and globes.It apparently has run out of steam and with John Spencer dying any hopes it had went with him.R.I.P. 7TH Heaven is also ending its run it was a really good show but it became too expensive and apparently it has been losing the network money the last few seasons.Also the wb and upn are combining this fall to form CW as they both tried to compete with the big four but failed to hang with the big boys so a merger is a good idea.

Fantastic 4, Intolerable Cruelty, Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy

Sup all! not a bad weekend what with Nfl playoffs, movies, Kobe going nuts!! it was a rollicking weekend indeed.Fantastic 4 was a good movie, I enjoyed myself immensely.Tough not to with Jessica Alba in the mix hehe, looking forward to the sequel and a 3rd one am sure.Intolerable Cruelty was as expected it was funny and Catherine Zeta Jones is one hot mama damn!.

Desperate Housewives was good with Gabby having the sly sister transfered to Alaska and having a chickfight in the church of all places good stuff indeed.Greys Anatomy was also good when is it ever bad? hehe I like the way O'malley MANED up and told Meredith in no uncertain terms that he was a human being and better than a dog hehe.This show is soo good you even forget they are actually doctors in a hospital as you are hooked on what is going on in their lives.The writing in this show is awesome and hopefully it continues.In other news the cast of Lost has been offered a pay hike somewhere around $80k an episode if they add another year to their existing contracts.Not a bad deal if you ask me ,one thing I notice is sometimes actors scoff at guranteed money and opt for the movie route hoping to hit it big however this is always a slippery slope as evidenced by David Caruso who is now back and starring in a hit C.S.I Miami.Yes the hours working on a weekly show are tough but you are well compensated, its always amazing to hear them whining about the hours, for the amount of money they are making they should really keep their traps shut.

Which brings up another topic that is always discussed what to do with the paparazzi? well I think it goes both ways for one they sometimes go too far I mean if you find one in your backyard in my opinion you should have the option of kicking his/her ass thoroughly as they have invaded your personal space.On the other hand when the actors careers have stalled they most of the time need all the ink they can get and are only too quick to pose for the paparazzi however once they are huge celebrities and are financially set for life they suddenly realise they don't need their photos taken so they become uppity about that.I have always admired Jerry Seinfield as he is always cordial to paparazzi smiling even having a few laughs with them, he goes about his business without any issues with them no wonder they often respect his wishes if requested he does not look down on them even though remember this man is worth more than $250mill now thats an area of stardom most actors and actresses will never reach due to their attitudes.I mean if I was worth millions of dollars and all people wanna do is take photos of me then by all means heck I will even pose for a few hehe its no sweat of my back.It is amusing to see actors and actresses call the magazines with the photos trash or rags but when their careers are stale they will kill to be on the cover of the same magazines, hypocrisy is rampant in Hollywood in my opinion.End of rant good day and good night.oh and watch 24 that 's an order!!!!

The O.C

The O.C was not too shabby, the addition or rather return of Marissa's sis is highly welcomed as the storylines were getting crappier and crappier.I don't know but I don't think this show will last longer than 5 seasons infact am sure the producers are praying they survive until then so that they can make money in syndication.I just don't see the storylines improving as time goes on there is only so much crap you can throw at Marissa and Ryan before the well runs dry.

In other news I read that Forest Whitaker is joining the Shield this season.That's great stuff as he is a good actor and I also applaud the creators of the show keeping things fresh by bringing in new dynamic actors this is why the show will never go stale plus the stories and acting are levels above anything you see on TV anyway.Otherwise have a nice weekend everybody cya on Monday.

American Idol, Invasion

Yes I know you watch it too don't lie:) well it never ceases to amaze the number of people who think they can sing a tune or even a note.Sometimes I think some of these nutcases want to be the next William Hung which is just sad.Simon ofcourse makes this show work as he brutally decimates the American Idol wannabees.The two episodes I watched had monster ratings which begs the question where would Fox be without this juggernaut? no wonder they are paying Simon all that dough coz they realise without him the show fails to exist, unfortunately so does he:).So far the contestants have been horrible but thats to be expected there is a gem in there somewhere.Simon recently blasted Kelly Clarkson for refusing the contestants to use her songs.I agree with him, without the show Kelly would have been a nobody like millions of others who may have talent but don't have the shot to fulfill their dreams.At first when Simon said that the winner of the competitions would sell millions of records I was not that convinced, however after Kelly Clarkson , Clay Aiken and Carrie Underwood I have to admit he knew what he was talking about.

I was abit tied up and missed Lost which blows however I watched Invasion which is actually an intriguing show.Am not sure how many people are watching but its a good show and am entertained each week.Hopefully people catch on and start watching it coz its quite good in my opinion.

I finished up The Shield season 4 and I was blown away as usual.The writing and acting in this show is top notch.FX is owning everyone with this show together with Nip/Tuck and Rescue Me.Another show am interested in checking out is Weeds starring Mary louise Parker who surprised all by winning the golden globe recently.I also watched Cinderella Man which was very good.Say what you want about Russel Crowe but the guy can act and will be winning a few more gold statues before he is done.Ron Howard knows what he is doing see A Beautiful Mind, and now this one am sure he has made others but these are the only two I have seen.His producing partner Brian Grazer will always own due to him producing 24.I missed most of the globes as I was too hooked on the 2 day premiere of 24 but the people I thought would win won so I didn't miss much.

Otherwise I will check back tomorrow as I see Fox moved The O.C opposite C.S.I which is puzzling as it will get slaughtered gotta love Fox they do do some hair raising stuff.Enjoy the tube cya lata............

Howdy folks! long time no read:) well the best show on network tv is back and boy is it! How this show is not nominated for best drama every year and winning is lost to me.First 10 mins were action packed as expected Palmer dead, Michelle dead, Tony's face half burnt, what a beginning can't wait for what's in store tonight unfortunately its on at the same time as the globes which blows, o well all you need to see are the winners anyway so hopefully I will catch a few in between breaks.If you are not watching 24 or have never watched it before go rent the seasons 1-4 you will not be disappointed.

I also watched the first 2 discs of The Shield season 4 and have to say that this show is superb infact the best shows on cable are IMO The Shield, The Sopranos, Nip/Tuck, The Wire, Entourage, Rescue Me. Hope I haven't forgotten any but the above shows are superb and I encourage anyone to list better shows than the above.Michael Chiklis acts his butt of in The Shield so I was happy to see him win a award when he did.

I also watched MR and MRS.Smith which was actually entertaining plus with Angelina Jolie the movie is half way there before I even know what its about:).Otherwise lets all fasten our seatbelts and enjoy the ride that's coming courtesy of 24 cya tomorrow..........

Hey happy new year folks! Hope you all had a merry x-mas and are having a good year so far.Well tv pretty much sucked as it was re-run hell all month but now the shows are about to come back including the highly anticipated 24 which is one of my fav shows.I watched Dick Clark host the new year's eve festivities and must say apart from his voice he is coming along well hopefully he will fully recover coz he was or rather is the iron man of television.

I watched Hero and House of Flying Daggers yesterday.One word to describe them both WOW.I was blown away, the cinematography in these two films decimates all competition in my opinion.Coupled with the great storytelling and you have yourself two phenomenal movies.Jet li was great as usual in Hero, Zhang Zhiyi (sp?) in my opinion will be the next Michelle Yeoh if she isn't already.Her acting is so on point plus she is a beauty so its all good on all fronts.I will be watching Memoirs of a Geisha when it comes out on dvd plus anything else she does later.House of flying daggers also featured Zhang and she was brilliant in it too. I highly highly recommend these two movies, if you enjoyed Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon these two movies bitch slap that movie on all points.Rent or Buy these movies immediately you will not be disappointed.As a matter of fact I may just watch them again today as I was enthralled the first time.
