The O.C, E.R, The Woodsman

The O.C was interesting as we saw the Cohen marriage unravelling as Mrs. Cohen is almost falling of the wagon and starting to drink again.Seth begged Summer for them to reconcile only to be rejected time and time again.It took a drunken fall from Summer for them to reconcile however she hasn't told him that she has left what he confessed to her in private on a napkin in an envelope ready for Seth's parents to read so there is trouble ahead.Chino boy finally rolled that douchebag who was cheating and treating Marissa like garbage.Things should get interesting as the last few episodes remain.

E.R was good as well with Weaver actually walking without a cane with no one seeming to notice which I found amusing.Pratt landed in Darfur and realised quickly he was far far away from the states what with almost getting ambushed and killed by rebels to the searing heat.One good thing he will realise is that people take a lot for granted here in the U.S.A there is a lot of suffering going on in Africa and I liked how e.r brought this to the fore front and will continue to do so as the last few episodes of the season premiere.Clemente is gettting paranoid as he is getting harrased by that douchebag who almost killed his girlfriend and himself for that matter.He appears to be lonely as he is trying to hang out with just about anybody unfortunately they all seem to have stuff going on in their lives thus he is finding himself alone most of the time.This show still OWNS as it has seen many come and go and is still going along well.It gets beat by without a trace in the ratings but if after 10 yrs without a trace is still on the air then we can say it was or is on the level with E.R.

The Woodsman is a heavy film.By heavy I mean the subject matter is serious.It's a story of a child molestor released from prison after 12 yrs and how he tries to lead a normal life.Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgewick do a great job so does mos def.The movie is actually only 87 mins long but it feels like it is longer.It was also produced by Damon Dash of Rocawear and if these are the kinds of movies Dash Films will be making I see a great future especially on the independent scene.This is not a film that would have made $100mill due to the subject matter however I recommend you check it out especially if you are a fan of small independent good quality flicks.Have a good weekend everyone and Goooooooooo lakers!!!!.

AI, House,Boston Legal

AI was interesting this week.The contestants are down to six and this week they were singing love songs.Mcclevage er Mcphee was great, Kellie continued to struggle, Paris was so so, Taylor stumbled, Elliot as usual OWNED,Chris was very good.My final three are Elliot, Mcphee and Chris.Is it just me or does Paula act bizarre sometimes......

House continued its dominance with a great episode about a kid who believed he was a faith healer.As usual House doubted and later on proved that the kid didn't actually heal a cancer patient who after being touched by the kid claimed that she felt better and even her tumor appeared to have shrunk.Unfortunately it turned out that the kid passed on a rare virus onto her that shrunk the tumor but it would eventually grow back and she would die eventually so all it did was buy her time.Next week's episode features a two parter which should do huge numbers for fox.The show is almost averaging 25 million viewers a night which is remarkable.Look for Hugh Laurie to get paid big time along with his cohorts.

Boston Legal was also good.I have come to realise that I only watch this show to see the shenanigans of Denny Crane.William Shatner does a superb job as Denny and should win many emmy's and globe's before the show ends.Alan Shore is also good but you kind of get tired of the act and also when it all comes down to it The Practice had a much better cast and much better storylines than Boston Legal by far, there is no debate.I sometimes miss Calista Flockhart, she was funny in Ally Mcbeal yes I watched it and I know you did too.I actually had a thing for Portia but later on found out she was a lesbian which was deflating... oh well.Not that there is anything wrong with being a lesbian it was just surprising.Goooo lakers tonight!

Prison Break, 24, What about Brian, Bend it like Beckham

It was quite the busy evening as the title suggests.Started things of with PB which was very good.That hot doc suspects that Scofield kissed her to butter her up so as to get her defenses down leading to her keys being "borrowed" by Scofield's wife who by the way is sssmooking!.The doc had the locks changed which complicates matters I would think, however Scofield has shown resiliency and mucho intelligence so am sure he will come up with something.That little eminem wannabe snitch told that douchebag prison guard about Scofield's plan which should make things mighty interesting.All in all the episode was quite good including Linc almost escaping courtesy of his long lost dad.Looking forward to the next instalment.

Bauer was too good, what with secretary Heller driving himself of a cliff! Dr. Romano making an appearance on 24, head of homeland security starting to doubt the president's motives and warning Buchanan about the incoming strike team to arrest Chloe.I may be sounding like a broken record but I have to say once again that there is no show on network tv as exciting as 24.

What about me? was also good with me running into Lisa and hoping for future hook ups.Things should get interesting with Dave's wife doing some extracuricular activities with that dude in the back of her van, let the guilt trips begin!.Majorie looked as hot as usual, Adam was told to never get married but who can not want to marry Majorie?.My sis is still trying to get pregnant which is looking to be a tough job.My company almost closed up shop but the game me and Dave made pulled us through.Looking forward to the next episode, actually I have an idea, I would hope ABC would put my show after Lost next season if it comes back that is.

I also watched Bend it like Beckham which was great.In this flick we get to see the emergence of Kiera knightely coz if I remember correctly after this flick she blew up big time snagging roles all over the place working with big time directors yet she is still so young.That Indian girl may look familiar as she is Neela on ER.She did a great job and there is something hot about a hot babe speaking in a british accent, well atleast for me>>.Well that was all for the night but it was an enjoyable one to say the least.

The life of David Gale

Kevin Spacey seems to do some good films.The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, K-PAX, Pay It Forward and now this one.This movie was very good with a good unexpected ending which will leave you asking yourself if you would do almost anything for something you believe in deeply.Rhona Mitra starred in it too, nothing more to say about her hehe.Laura linney was also there and she acted well as usual she will win best actress one of these years given the right script.Well that was all for the weekend as we are in re run hell.Today atleast there is some good tv a solid 3 hrs of scofield, bauer, and me.Enjoy..........

AI, House, Hustle and Flow

Ai was actually good this week.The contestants actually performed songs that we have actually heard off!!!. Chris is pwining everybody and will be a star whatever happens now on, mcphee looked hot as ever and owned the night, pickler continued her "am cute" look and sailed through even though she hasn't done well the past few weeks.I think it may come down to mcphee , paris, chris and hicks with chris winning it all.

House was also good.This episode featured a woman who couldn't sleep.This show is averaging over 20 mill viewers so its now a bonafide hit whether idol is its lead in or not.

I also watched Hustle and Flow and was thoroughly entertained.Terence Howard did an excellent job and deserved the oscar nomination.The movie was well directed by John Singleton and I highly recommend it.Taryn Manning is a hot mama as well even though she is very skinny she is still hot.Goooooooooooo lakersssssssss.

Columbian neck tie, Bauer, Me

Prison break was very good last night.Scofield had that psycho dude draw what was burnt from his back.The inmates managed to hustle enough cash to buy scofield's cell only to be hustled themselves.However they were able to have that corrupt guard fired which was good.Linc managed to get permission to go see his son only to have his transport van get rammed by a truck leaving for an interesting situation next week.

Bauer was good as per usual.Jack managed to get the tape to the secretary of state only to end up in lock up with the secret service dudes.Chloe manageed to get tricked into revealing where Audrey was.Audrey by the way got sliced by that henderson douchebag and is currently bleeding profusely.That secret service dude called Pierce seems to be missing as evidenced by the first lady finding his cell phone.As always can't wait for next week.

What about Brian? was also good as it will always be hehe.Brian managed to bang 2 hot chicks both named Lisa.His friend who is having issues with his wife regarding their sex lives is also struggling, both he and his wife have come close to sleeping with other people but have managed to restrain themselves.Majorie looks as hot as ever, has a lil spat with Adam but its all good now.All in all it was a very good night good 3 hrs of good dramas.Adios.

What about me?

What about Brian premiered yestereday to so so ratings but whatevaaa.... I liked it no no not just coz of the title.JJ abrams who was responsible for Felicity is on fire at the moment with Alias, Lost, and directing MI3.The girl Brian is into was on Everwood for those that remember.The first episode was ok , good looking cast.It's new time slot is tonight opposite csi miami which sucks coz it will get mauled.I hope people follow it to tonight.Hope it does well coz there is nothing like it on the big networks.

I was wondering why there are no dramas on the major networks.Apart from desperate housewives its all cop or doctor shows out there.There only appears to be dramas on the soon to be defunct WB. I wonder why there are no more? I mean don't people get tired of the law and orders, csi's, er's and their imitators? or is prime time not good for dramas? especially during the week? I wonder how good housewives would do in time slot mid week? anyway was just wondering wassup, three good dramas today, prison break, bauer, and what about Brian? should make for some good 3hrs.enjoy......

Conviction, Tears of the Sun

Conviction is a good show, unfortunately no one is watching which might lead to its demise.The cases are good, attractive cast, produced by Dick Wolf however it seems it is not catching an audience which is too bad.Just goes to show that you can have a good show with a good cast but without viewers you are doomed to fail.

Tears of the sun is a flick I have been wanting to watch but never got the opportunity.It's about a group of marines going to rebel infested Nigeria to get American citizens out.The marines are led by Bruce Willis , the movie is actually quite good and was happy with the way it was written and directed.It didn't make much at the boxoffice which was a pity coz it was a good flick.

AI, House

AI was interesting yesterday with the contestants singing country songs.However they were not doing a good job according to Randy, Simon hates country so he was just floating, bored out of his mind.I thought Chris, Ace, were the best Chris by the way will be a huge star regardless of where he finishes.My horse however is Elliot Yamin he doesn't look like he can sing but boy the boy has skillz.Should be interesting to see who gets the boot.There should be lots of crying tonight by the contestants am sure.

House was very good as usual.Feartured a girl who was apparently allergic to ticks.This show is very good and I highly recommend it to you guys and gals.Also watched Domino last night, nice movie about a female bounty hunter it was based on a true story.Otherwise cya all tomorrow adios.......

President

Well what an ending for 24, clearly there are few shows that have the quality of 24 as evidenced by yesterday's great episode.Apparently the President is not as clueless or useless as he has appeared so far.Should be interesting to see how bauer brings down the most powerful man in the world, should make for great viewing to say the least.Sometimes when I watch Audrey I am reminded of third watch, now there was a good show. I miss it sometimes, remember bosco? that was great tv, not surprised as it was executive produced by John Wells of ER and other well written dramas.

Prison break was a flashback episode where we saw how the inmates got to be in prison in the first place.We learnt that Michael almost banged his bro's ex, we learnt how lincoln payed for his bro's education without him knowing it.This is good show that provides a nice 1 , 2 punch for fox on Monday's.There is a show starting in a few weeks called What about Brian?, it looks interesting starring that 7th heaven dude, it has to succeed I mean how can it not with a title like that :). Anyway it was a good night as expected if only all the nights would be this good?

25th hour, Raising Victor Vargas

Well I watched two good movies this weekend.I started of with 25th hour starring Ed norton, Barry pepper, Rosario "hot" Dawson.The movie is about a guy Ed who has one day to go to jail on a heroin charge for upto 7 yrs.The movie follows him as he says goodbye to his friends, father and girlfriend.The pivotal part or my favourite part was where he asked his best friend to beat him up so that he looked tough when he went to jail, it made me actually think how difficult of a task that was for someone to do for his best friend.Overall the movie is a must see if you enjoy good drama's.

The other movie I watched was Raising Victor Vargas.I heard some buzz about this movie on the independet level and boy was it deserved.The movie is about a young guy who is the resident playboy getting all the girls, he is caught romancing a overwieght girl and his reputation is put to the test so to restore it he attempts to hook up with the hottest chick in his neighbourhood.Unfortunately it is not as easy as he is used to and she is quite a challenge.His plan was to just hookup with her to show he is till the MAN but he ends up feeling for her and the story rotates from there with some other stuff going on as he , his brother and sister are raised by their grandmother.I found myself highly entertained and highly recommend it .After watching this movie and Maria full of grace am starting to wonder if the general public is really aware of what great ,good independent movies are out there.There is a lot of garbage released by hollywood these are the kinds of films I would feel deserved my money at the theatre.Anyway I seem to have a knack for picking some good flicks hopefully it continues.
