The O.C, E.R, The Woodsman

The O.C was interesting as we saw the Cohen marriage unravelling as Mrs. Cohen is almost falling of the wagon and starting to drink again.Seth begged Summer for them to reconcile only to be rejected time and time again.It took a drunken fall from Summer for them to reconcile however she hasn't told him that she has left what he confessed to her in private on a napkin in an envelope ready for Seth's parents to read so there is trouble ahead.Chino boy finally rolled that douchebag who was cheating and treating Marissa like garbage.Things should get interesting as the last few episodes remain.

E.R was good as well with Weaver actually walking without a cane with no one seeming to notice which I found amusing.Pratt landed in Darfur and realised quickly he was far far away from the states what with almost getting ambushed and killed by rebels to the searing heat.One good thing he will realise is that people take a lot for granted here in the U.S.A there is a lot of suffering going on in Africa and I liked how e.r brought this to the fore front and will continue to do so as the last few episodes of the season premiere.Clemente is gettting paranoid as he is getting harrased by that douchebag who almost killed his girlfriend and himself for that matter.He appears to be lonely as he is trying to hang out with just about anybody unfortunately they all seem to have stuff going on in their lives thus he is finding himself alone most of the time.This show still OWNS as it has seen many come and go and is still going along well.It gets beat by without a trace in the ratings but if after 10 yrs without a trace is still on the air then we can say it was or is on the level with E.R.

The Woodsman is a heavy film.By heavy I mean the subject matter is serious.It's a story of a child molestor released from prison after 12 yrs and how he tries to lead a normal life.Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgewick do a great job so does mos def.The movie is actually only 87 mins long but it feels like it is longer.It was also produced by Damon Dash of Rocawear and if these are the kinds of movies Dash Films will be making I see a great future especially on the independent scene.This is not a film that would have made $100mill due to the subject matter however I recommend you check it out especially if you are a fan of small independent good quality flicks.Have a good weekend everyone and Goooooooooo lakers!!!!.
